Plenty of people have been looking into installing solar panels in an effort to combat rising energy costs. When most of these people see the prices of the professionally installed panels they realize it may not be a luxury they can afford. There is an easier, more cost efficient way to harness power from the sun and that is to learn how to make solar panels for your self.

Any motivated do-it-yourselfer can learn how to make solar panels for their home, workshop or business. When compared to the cost of purchasing and installing a pre-made solar energy system, learning how to make solar panels for your energy needs and the materials you need to execute the project are far less. By learning how to make solar panels for yourself, you have greater control over the size and design of your system as well.

Once you have a quality manual and you have learned how to make solar panels, the supplies are fairly simple to find. Most can be found at your local hardware store like, plywood, sheets of glass, and a roll of copper wire. It is also easy to locate inexpensive solar or photovoltaic cells to use in your project. Many are available over the Internet or you may have a retailer available locally. One you’ve learned how to make solar panels and you have your supplies, it usually takes about a day to assemble a 100-watt panel. This is the perfect amount of electricity to operate small appliances or a small workshop.

The most important step is finding a quality manual with detailed instructions for learning how to make solar panels. In many cases you get what you pay for, so don’t be afraid to spend a few extra dollars on a well-reviewed instruction manual. Overall, the cost of the making your own panels is so low, the price of the how to guide is minimal-you will still be paying way less learning how to make solar panels on your own than purchasing a professionally installed system.

Is the “Green DIY Energy” guide for building solar panels a scam?

Harnessing free sunlight to help save money on electrical bills is a great concept isn’t it?

My Father and I thought this exact same thing, that using homemade solar panels could be a wonderful way to save money. The reason my father and I wanted to look into diy solar panels, was because my father had purchased a farm to retire in and using homemade solar panels would certainly offset his monthly expenses giving both him and his wife more money each month to do other things once they retired.

Also this is Green Energy, solar panels are great for the environment and also for the pocket book. Why didn’t everyone do this years ago I ask?
Well to continue, we decided to look into the possibilities of building our own homemade solar panels and just needed a very good diy solar panel guide. Our search started on the internet, and we found that there are many diy solar panel guides out there and lots of information. It took us some time to go through all the information that the sites had on diy solar panel guides. Once we went through all the solar panel information we filtered our list. First we filtered it down from 8 to 6, 6 to 4, then from 4 to 2 and ended up deciding on these two diy solar panel guides below which met our criteria and purchased them.

Why two do you ask? Well we felt it was only going to cost $100 for both so this way we could compare the final products and make more of the best one.
1. Green DIY Energy
2. Earth 4 Energy

Both Green DIY Energy and Earth 4 Energy turned out to be very good products for us. We built them for a reasonable price of less then $200.00 for each one and both designs by Green DIY Energy and Earth 4 Energy were easy to follow and met our expectations. My father is using both designs at his farm and has started seeing a savings each month in a sizeable amount.

Is there one of these that we think rates best?

If we must rate them we would put Green DIY Energy at a 9.5/10, Earth 4 Energy would be a 9/10, just because some things in the diy solar panel guide were just a bit clearer making it easier to understand for us.

Benefits of DIY Solar Panels are:
1. Saving on Electrical Bills
2. Inexpensive to Build Your Solar Panels compared to purchasing manufactured versions
3. Power Failures can no longer be a worry
4. Possibilities to sell your excess power back

Here are the links to the DIY Solar Panel Guides that we recommend either Green DIY Energy or Earth 4 Energy are good investments for any do it yourselfer.

With the world slowly moving to the much-dreaded energy crisis, it is important that we reduce our dependency on non-renewable sources of energy. Non-renewable sources being renewable are about to get extinct. Renewable energy solutions refer to those energy solutions that can keep churning energy without exhausting the resources. Three types of energy solutions fall into the category of renewable energy solutions: solar energy solutions, hydro energy solutions, and wind energy solutions.

Solar energy solutions: The sun’s energy is the most abundant energy available on earth. Make use of this free energy. You can employ solar power solutions at home. This will not only cut down power bills but also help you contribute to a greener world. Solar power solutions comprise of solar cookers, solar heating systems, solar lighting systems, solar dryers etc.

The sun has always been a source of heat energy and light energy. With the advancement of technology, the sun’s energy can be used to create other forms of energy.

The solar energy systems have many advantages apart from being cost-effective and environment-friendly. They are low on maintenance thus saving your time and effort. Also, solar systems give you a return on investment very soon, thus making the systems free after some time. Cooking with solar energy is also considered extremely healthy. Families have started employing solar energy as a power solution at their homes.

Hydro energy solutions: The hydro energy or water energy is an effective renewable energy. One can convert the hydro energy into electrical energy to run vehicles and various electrical appliances. Hydro energy is typically generated on a large scale. It has been estimated that 90 percent of the electrical energy produced by renewable resources is produced solely by hydro power. Dams are built to help generate electricity by tapping the water power.

There have been some concerns about using this energy because it is supposed to adversely affect the water-borne flora and fauna.

Wind energy solutions: Windmills were in existence even in the years before the birth of Christ. They helped tow boats and pump water. Eventually, post-industrialization, they became a source for generating electricity.

Windmills and wind turbines have never been passé. Wind energy can help generate tonnes of megawatts of electricity. When employed at individual estates, it can help do away with conventional power sources. An excellent renewable source of energy, the wind energy will go a long way in promising a good future to generations to come.

Make power at home with solar and wind energy to eliminate your power bill.

At the minute the majority of people are able to survive without having to make any real sacrifice. However, as the price of oil gravitates upwards, the price of everything else associated with oil will also increase. This means food prices will increase as transportation costs increase – definitely not something that can be sustained by the majority of people.

You already know the costs of running your home and how tight your budget is – would it be possible to afford the same lifestyle if the cost of everything increased by 50% or more?

Residential solar power generators are getting quite popular nowadays. With the rising cost of fuel, many have now been seeking alternative sources of energy to help cushion the cost of everyday expenses and inflation. Although there are other various forms of harnessing alternative generating resources that can be installed at your home, solar powered generators have become increasingly popular because they are easy to put up and install.

Sunlight is not only an efficient and renewable source of energy; it is also safe for the environment because it has no residue and emits no harmful byproducts. It is one of the ways that we can put a stop to the constant rise of pollution generated by conventional energy sources, such as gas, oil, and coal. Clean sources of energy are really needed to take effect in order to safeguard our environment and make our homes better places to live and breathe in.

You can avail of solar powered systems either through purchasing them through vendors from stores within your area or through those selling over the Internet. They can also be complete manufactured systems that can be handled by a team of professionals for a certain fee, or you can opt for ready made solar power kits at a relatively cheaper cost. Fret not about self-installation because the kits come with very simple instructions that you can follow. Another low-budget option which is becoming very popular nowadays is to purchase an online guide that teaches you how to buy and assemble the parts.

Regardless of which option you choose, you will still come out better in the long run and will save a lot of dollars. Another reason why people have been interested in such generators is that they have been known to last long and rarely break down, so this assures you of a reliable source of electricity to supply your household needs.

And yet another advantage is that you can arrange with the local utility companies to have an on-grid and off-grid application. This means that in the event that your system does break down, you can tap into the local utility company for electricity. And, in turn, if you generate excess, you can pass it on over to the grid for other consumers to use. If you tap on the grid, you pay the utility provider. If you transfer electricity over to the grid, the company pays you. It is really a situation wherein everybody gains over this arrangement.

Depending on your need and application, there are two types of residential solar power generators in the market available today, and they are used for heating alone and generation of electricity which is stored into batteries.

By Dale Maxwell

There is an energy source that won’t be depleted until the end of time and it is the sun. The sun is different than most other energy options such as oil, gas, and electricity. These options, unlike the sun, are subject to suffer from the strain of multiple people using them, at the same time.

In addition, these other energy sources are highly expensive to its customers, as well. But, if you decide on relieving yourself from some of the high energy costs, you can go opt for the solar power option. Amongst the other energy resources, you’ll find that the solar power option for energy is the least expensive.

The solar power option can be used daily, with solar panels. These panels were created to save the sun’s rays and turn them into either mechanical or electrical energy. There is a science to actually converting those rays into a usable energy source. This science energy, involves the panels and the power they hold within their cells, which is also known as PV cells.

The PV cell or photovoltaic actually converts the power into electricity or energy. The photo in photovoltaic means the sun and the voltaic describes the energy within these cells. They are made up of semiconductor material and this material absorbs the energy. This energy is held until electrons within current, causes it to flow.

Overall, solar power comes from the sun and is held within the PV cells until ready for use. The electrons flow in a certain direction that will cause the current. The current itself is energy. Once you have the panels in place and the sunlight has been harnessed, it is ready to be used for any of your household appliances. Solar power can even be used to heat or cool your home.

Although, if you experience some cloudy or rainy days, you might need to supplement your solar power, you probably want to have an alternative to this option, such as wind or even electrical energy. If you have a backup power source, you won’t go without electricity during times when the weather isn’t favorable. You can even obtain batteries that can be used with the solar power. These batteries can store energy for you, until times that you are low on your main source.

You can also keep your electricity account and use it, only when you have to. There may be times that the electric company might owe you because of the power that you have created. These are the benefits that most enjoy once they have decided to go with the solar power option.

This technology was once, one that most avoided due to the large panels and overall expensiveness. But, those panels have been redesigned into ones that are much smaller and more efficient. The costly excuse has been ruled out as well, due to the fact that while on the re-designing table they found a way to cut down on the amount of money required to purchase them.

solar energy panels can actually be put together on your own and within a quick turnaround time. This will allow you to see what a great investment you made in thinking about your family’s future and saving the planet.

By Gary Ashby

Are you searching for the best ways to save on electric bill and how to lower power bill? This was exactly what I had been looking for in the past, and I am glad that I have found some very effective methods to lower my electricity bills. If you want to do something about your electric bill that seems to be going up every month, you should definitely read this article and find out how I managed to decrease my electricity bills by more than 90%.

What Are The Top 2 Ways To Save On Electric Bill?

1. Use Renewable Energy

This is the method that thousands of households are now using to reduce their electric bills by more than 90%. Basically, it is possible for anyone to build their own homemade renewable energy system at home as there are now many great step-by-step building guides being sold on the internet.

The online guide that I purchased gave me clearly illustrated diagrams and clearly written step-by-step instructions to build wind generators and solar panels. Most people may feel that the process of building a home energy system is very hard, but it is actually quite simple. My renewable energy system has helped me save a lot of money and I am very pleased with my decision to construct it. Today, my family are living off the grid and I highly recommend you to try out this method.

2. Conserve Electric from the Main Energy Drains

There are some household appliances that are very inefficient and waste a lot of electricity. Examples are appliances that create heat from electricity like pumps. You could try changing these things in your house like replacing your electric water heater with a gas heater instead. Thousands of people have already eliminated their own home electricity bills with a free energy system that they learned how to build with a step-by-step guide online. You can find out more about how to build this homemade power system at the website link below.
