(sorry in advance if this sounds stupid)
if earth moves at an amazing speed around the sun and the sun moves faster around the super massive black hole and there all attached by gravity so one is moving faster than the other. so my question is, is it possible to travel in a different direction of earths orbit to cause a slow in your speed (like trying to jump out the back of a moving car rather than the front) to slow yourself down enough to see earth travel at its true speed? or would the suns gravity field prevent this? and if it were possible wouldnt it then be possible to disapear completely becuase if the gravity feild didnt prevent your slowing and theres no friction in space wouldnt it then be possible to continue slowing until the solar systems true speed become observable and then the galaxys speed and then everything would be moving so fast that the human eye couldnt see it and there would be no way of ever speeding back up to the objects right? my last question is say it were possible and lets say it were possible to speed back up to earth and it only took an hour for you to do all this would only an hour of went by on earth when you returned or would it of spun around the sun a bunch of times in that period?

If you slowed down you would fall toward the sun and if you speed up you would move away from it. Although the earth is moving fast it’s nowhere near the speed of light, so the time that passed on earth would be the same amount of time that you would experience.

We all know, deep down in our hearts, that this is just a story. Nothing more, nothing less. It was written by a guild of writers over years, accumulating the stories which were told by mouth for years. The events that took place in the story are hardly believable at our time, yet for the day and age it was written, the logic and intellect of the common person was far less than ours.

We know witches don’t exist. We know how the earth works, as well as our solar system. We know a GREAT deal more now, then before. So why can’t we just let go of this book? I keep questioning this over, and over, and always come up with the same dead end:

We haven’t biologically matured enough to understand our aspects of living and dying, we shut them out and force our minds to believe nonsense, just to live a lie so we don’t have to deal with life.

What is my question, you ask? Well, why put yourself, and others, through this tribulation? How can a few words change your life, when the rest of us know it’s all blow out of proportion? To make yourself feel better? I just can’t comprehend what it is, and I would enjoy some answers, if you could.

Perhaps you understand the first teachers are the parents, the next is the school and the third is the society in which one lives. This is truly the conditioning process of us.

So if God is the creator of the planets the solar system, US, would that mean that truly God isn’t a a living, thinking person or spirit, as we say. Wouldn’t that mean that, we have gods in ourselves because God is the atoms, the molecules that make up everything, seeing as God is the creator and that is what we are created out of. So If this is correct, God doesn’t think and therefore there are no sins, no commandments, nothing restricting us from anything.
So if God is the creator, and God doesn’t think, and there are no true religions. Why have people been fighting over who’s "God" is better for thousands of years? And what do think religion is? I think it’s just an excuse to not think for yourself. Who agrees?
No. People. again I stress this, I am saying that GOD is not a person. GOD is not a living thing. GOD is the so called creator of our world, so if there was a God he would be the thing that creates, and what creates? What creates us? What are we made out of? Hmm?

Good question… if God is infinite and eternal then that means he is everything, including us (which is very confusing). My solution is that there is no God and we live in a natural universe that can be studied and understood.

Many religious fundamentalists believe that the earth and everything on it was created in six 24 hour days, just a few thousand years ago. Some atheists would have you believe that God does not exist, that the Bible is a book of myths, and that all life is the product of random, undirected events.
