Do It Yourself: Swags, Hempcrete, Batteries & Solar Power at a Space Flight Cinema near YOU!

Olah soldiers of light! Welcome to another Project Bluestar transmission. So what’s on today’s menu? Well, the team are prepping for an Earth’s Cool – Sustainable Living Tour & also experimenting with the revolutionary Hemp Fiber to create Hempcrete, the light weight & super tough material that works for everyone. We also get a glimpse at the Sanctuary’s brand new battery bank to help store the wealth of solar & wind power which is bombarding the Central Australian desert. The Team also get to work on upgrading the Entertainment Shed “Mini-Cinema” Space Flight Simulator with a host of recycled bus seats to make the Star Shows truly Galactic. Finally, let’s take a brief visit to the central Australian Solar City precinct to suss out just how well sustainable living is taking to the masses. Climate Change means people MUST change if our crazy species wishes to play beach-frisby in the future.
Are you a person who is interested in green energy and using Solar Energy Panels or creating your own Home Wind Power, then you are just like myself. I have had a keen interest in green energy every since I studied Architecture many many years ago. At that time I learned that is was possible to build homes that are completely self sufficient which was so compelling to me I had to know more.

With social & environmental pressures increasing daily, we return to the age old wisdom of ‘necessity being the mother of invention’. We need to change. The Earth is finite & so is our survival if we don’t get sustainable. This threat to our humanity marks a monumental opportunity to make life on earth even greater, so embrace it & dance the tango!

We hope you’re all kicking goals in your neck of the woods. Keep smiling & laughing to the point of tears.

tommy :)
