    are you planning to eventually set up so that your system can feed energy back to the power company once you have surplus? Ive heard of people getting checks from the power company that way… wondered how hard it was to do…

    @cheesestr4wz If attached via Grid Tie and you make more power than you use in a day within your home… The power company would apply the power as credits to your account and you would use those credits first at night. When making more power than your house uses the meter will spin backwards and credits will be applied.

    @mettanc Thanks, Im not electrician by any stretch of the imagination but I tried to make it look neat and use the best wiring for the job. Yep cutting the bills is going to really help me get a lot of stuff done with the house.

    @ChangedTheWorldToday Yes eventually I want to get to that stage, but I have a long way to go. Its not a hard thing to do its just expensive. If you have a really nice grid tie system but you have to get an electrician to install a big one, well that and have a lot of panels..
