Is this a good kit for building a solar panel?

Only if for some reason you need to design a panel to a particular voltage and current capability that is difference from a prefab’ed panel.

Lots of work and you still need to weather proof it and mount the individual cells into a frame.

    I read online about a guy that bought some off ebay. He said alot of things the you need to know before buying them. something like they are wax coated and have to be boiled to get wax off and need to have wire already attached because you cant soldier them correctly without them cracking…
    anyway here is the link to the site. he builds a few panels and give alot of information. I hope it help you out on choosing one.
