Sorry to correct you, pspheaven, but it is a combination of three capacitors which are excited by sunlight, making them solar cells. It contains TWO metals (copper and cuprous oxide) and a DIELECTRIC (saline water)
You may be in principals of technology, computer networking and electronics classes, but you’ll never be able to argue with anyone if you don’t know your information and are unable to form your ideas into complete sentences with proper grammar and structure.

It is not a solar cell its a battery containing to different metals and an electrolyte
