home made wind turbine

home made wind turbine for £35, want to know more visit my site and become a member on my new forum:www.windchasers.euAre you a person who is interested in green energy and using Solar Energy Panels or creating your own Home Wind Power, then you are just like myself. I have had a keen interest in green energy every since I studied Architecture many many years ago. At that time I learned that is was possible to build homes that are completely self sufficient which was so compelling to me I had to know more.

    Depends on the size …
Depends on the size and type of the battery and the output from the windmill. if you are only producing a few amps into a large lead acid battery, you can easily watch it by checking it on windy days.

    You are showing the …
You are showing the volts here, but what about the amperes?

    I tried doing this …
I tried doing this with an 8ft windmill on a 6 foot step ladder. Two people holding the ladder up was still not enough, probably 100-200lbs of thrust.

for sure duct tape the meter to the unit and use 2 hands friend ! looks like it all might bolt up with an old gunstock to give you a good grip and a nice feel when aiming it in to the wind! none the less a great idea, thanks

    Inverter, all …
Inverter, all photovoltaic and wind powered systems require an inverter, it doesn’t matter what kind of voltage it puts out, what matters the most is amperage.

    I have done that …
I have done that before, and it can get pretty scary in high winds. You have a nice setup there. 5stars

What you do is make the 20 v charge a 12 v battrey then use a power inverter to convert it to 115 v. :)

ok so you got 20V …
ok so you got 20V out of that, now how do you get it to 115V ? making 6 o 10 more turbines and connecting it to a regulator to get the 115 ~ 120 V ???
