Build Your Own Solar Panels

Build Your Solar Panels
Has the price of electricity and gas got you feeling nervous about the future? If it hasn’t, then it definitely should as the trend of price increases is set to continue in the future.
At the minute the majority of people are able to survive without having to make any real sacrifice. However, as the price of oil gravitates upwards, the price of everything else associated with oil will also increase. This means food prices will increase as transportation costs increase – definitely not something that can be sustained by the majority of people.
Are you a person who is interested in green energy and using Solar Energy Panels or creating your own Home Wind Power, then you are just like myself. I have had a keen interest in green energy every since I studied Architecture many many years ago. At that time I learned that is was possible to build homes that are completely self sufficient which was so compelling to me I had to know more.
You already know the costs of running your home and how tight your budget is – would it be possible to afford the same lifestyle if the cost of everything increased by 50% or more?
Is Green DIY Energy a Scam?

Is the “Green DIY Energy” guide for building solar panels a scam?
Harnessing free sunlight to help save money on electrical bills is a great concept isn’t it?
My Father and I thought this exact same thing, that using homemade solar panels could be a wonderful way to save money. The reason my father and I wanted to look into diy solar panels, was because my father had purchased a farm to retire in and using homemade solar panels would certainly offset his monthly expenses giving both him and his wife more money each month to do other things once they retired.
Also this is Green Energy, solar panels are great for the environment and also for the pocket book. Why didn’t everyone do this years ago I ask?
Well to continue, we decided to look into the possibilities of building our own homemade solar panels and just needed a very good diy solar panel guide. Our search started on the internet, and we found that there are many diy solar panel guides out there and lots of information. It took us some time to go through all the information that the sites had on diy solar panel guides. Once we went through all the solar panel information we filtered our list. First we filtered it down from 8 to 6, 6 to 4, then from 4 to 2 and ended up deciding on these two diy solar panel guides below which met our criteria and purchased them.

Why two do you ask? Well we felt it was only going to cost $100 for both so this way we could compare the final products and make more of the best one.

anybody got any info on solar panels for energy savings?

looking for alternative ways to save energy money and thinking about solar panels. anyone know anything about it and how expensive it is to install them?
Installing solar panels is now much more affordable than most people realize. Depending on where you live, new financing mechanisms such as the Sungevity Solar Lease, PACE (property-assessed clean energy) and PPA (Power Purchase Agreements) allow you to get solar with zero money down–you pay off the system on a monthly basis, and your monthly payments are likely to be less than you’re paying for electricity right now. Also, if you go with one of these financing mechanisms, you’ll be guaranteed a fixed rate for 10-15 years so you won’t have to worry about utility rate hikes. Last but not least, there are some great rebates and tax credits available right now for PV systems and solar hot water heaters–check out http://www.dsireusa.org/ for details. I’ve had solar panels on my roof for years but wish this kind of creative financing had been available to me (oh well). I’m going to see if I can find an installer who will put up panels on my son’s school using some kind of PPA. (Oh, and if you live in New Jersey, check out this article about how installing solar can actually be a get-rich-quick (while saving the planet) scheme because of an amazing incentive program mandated by the state–http://solarpowerrocks.com/new-jersey/im-moving-to-new-jersey-just-to-buy-homes-and-put-solar-on-them-seriously/).Are you a person who is interested in green energy and using Solar Energy Panels or creating your own Home Wind Power, then you are just like myself. Do you think this is possible?

I read this article once, and it seemed a bit unusual. I can’t find it on the internet, so let me sum it up. I don’t know why, but this seems to be something that should be asked in the R&S section:
If the universe is infinite in size, then there are an infinite number of each individual, each one exactly the same as, or slightly different, the exampled person.
The article used Bill Maher as an example. If the solar system is just a cloud of gas and dust that, under force of gravity, has solidified and ignited, and the physical size of the universe has no limit, there are an infinite number of of places that underwent the same process.

I have had a keen interest in green energy every since I studied Architecture many many years ago. At that time I learned that is was possible to build homes that are completely self sufficient which was so compelling to me I had to know more.
Seeing how there is no limit to the overall scale of things, it is actually possible to travel to some distant galaxy and find another Bill Maher, maybe one that is just like the one we know, and the one that is somewhat different. If you were to make the same trip again, you’d find the same thing. The idea in being, there are and endless number of Bill Mahers all spread out over the vast reaches of space.
Does this sound stupid? If you were to meet yourself in such a place, what would you do?
andie, what are you on about?
PICTI: I was going to say the same thing. Wow…
It’s possible.
But no one said the universe was infinite….

http://www.SolarEnergyGuide.net – Solar Panels – Build Your Own Solar Panel From Kits
Many people think that it is very difficult, if not impossible, to build your own solar panels. They are then turned off by the prohibitively high costs of commercially available solar power setups, even though they may be interested in alternative energy. Now, when talking about the decision to build your own solar panels from scratch, the difficulty is indeed high, and most of these projects are too small for practical use. However, there are actually supplies that are available that make it possible to partially construct your very own sun-powered electricity setup.
Kits like these are complete in themselves, containing everything that a do-it-yourself enthusiast would need to build a fully functional power system for home use. Apart from yielding a working setup, these are also invaluable for teaching users the basics on how these setups work and are built. These kits are not that difficult to find, which may come as a surprise to some of you. Simply doing a little research on the Internet is often enough to turn up a couple of sources of the supplies you will need. Among these are such reputable companies as GE, which is selling equipment at reasonable prices.
What good would one or two photovoltaic electric panels built from kits do for you, you may ask? Well, even if the panels you set up are not quite large enough in scale to take you completely off the power grid, they will surely help nonetheless. Powering even just a couple of lights and appliances with free, renewable solar energy is going to help both your power bill and the environment in the long run. This is precisely why more and more people are becoming interested in learning how to build your own solar panels.
In comparison to premade sheets, these kits are less expensive and help to reduce the necessary initial outlay for the setups. Hence, they can more easily pay back their own costs, and you will start saving money faster. Even novices can take advantage of these packages since they are designed to be not too difficult to put together. Assembly of a panel from a certain package is a fairly short project that should not take more than a day or two, at the most. This also means that you can start using your arrangement to power your devices quickly enough, even though you have to build it yourself. This makes these kits a really feasible alternative to more expensive ready-made systems. Learning how to build your own solar panels is definitely a cost-effective option.
People interested in solar energy but leery of the high costs of ready-made setups should really consider investing in these kits. Build your own solar panels easily, and start living your dream of a cleaner, greener lifestyle with alternative energy.

USE WIND POWER, it’s free.
Building a windmill for home use is not that a difficult task as it may seem initially. You need not be a technical geek in order to build and install one. In fact the relative ease with which they can be built is one of the reasons for their rising popularity. One of the reasons why building and installing them has become a lot easier is because of the internet. There are several online guides that you can follow in order to build a homemade windmill.
The first thing that you need to do once you had decided to install a windmill for home use is to find a suitable location. The location should be obviously one where there is good flow of wind. You don’t need lots of wind for power, even small amounts of wind is more than enough to generate wind power. You can find most of the things that you need for building a windmill for home use at a hardware store near you. You will be surprised to know that you can build a windmill for around $100 these days. Not only is building one cheap, remember, they are also going to provide you with free power for years to come. This translates into substantial savings over a period of time.Wind power generated through ‘wind generators for home use’ is an excellent source of clean clean energy. Owners all around the world are discovering the advantages and savings of this much overlooked power source. As more people look to alternative power sources, windmills for home use are becoming increasingly favored methods of manufacturing energy for home usage. Wind power has for some time been employed in many different civilizations, but only recently has home wind power come into prominence. Harnessing the wind to supply electrical power has never been easier and more obtainable. Any house owner now has the capacity to build a wind powered generator. Residential Home Wind Turbine
Posted by Admin in Home Wind Power on March 8th, 2010
WindEnergy7.com – If you want a home wind turbine, fill out home wind turbine contact form and I can connect you with the home wind turbine dealer for your area. There are still areas open for new dealers to become the local source for wind/solar systems. So, if you are interested in becoming a home wind turbine dealer fill out the Contact Form at – WindEnergy7.com – and we can see if your area may still be open for you to become the home wind turbine dealer for your county.
You will find links to pictures that I have published of home wind turbine rooftop system installations done recently. Some are featured in newspaper articles and so forth. WindEnergy7 LLC has invented and filed for patents on a few of the technologies that make home rooftop wind turbines feasible. We have been busy training and supporting owners and dealers from California to New Jersey over the past couple of years to expand our network of local home wind turbine dealers.
Our home wind turbene systems are Wind/Solar Hybrid, and are qualified for government tax crdedits of 30%. So, for your investment made in these systems the IRS credits you back 30% within one year of purchase. You get 30% back from the IRS. So, basically the government will pay for almost 1/3 of your investment made in your new home wind turbine energy system. This includes all installation costs and expenses and is a real nice start on your investment payback.
Free electricity isnt all you get from a new home wind turbine, as soon as your system is up, you have improved your home value by atleast an equal amount of the investment. Your green energy home is more likely to sell compared to others with no home generation or emergency power system. Think about it. Look at homes for sale.. Can any of them generate their own free electricity, how many can compete with such a solid green energy capability like your home wind turbine delivers. Its also an attention getter and will bring people to see what its about if you ever need to sell, your home has a dramatic edge and a higher resale value.
The home wind turbine systems are designed for reliable power output for the next 30 years or so. With every price increase of the utility company power your investment gets better all the time. Utility costs are rising all over and will accelerate over the next few years. We expect the cost of electricity to rise and double over Obamas term in office due to cap and trade and increased regulation and market pressure.
To see more videos of our home wind turbines, go to – WindEnergy7.com – and you can find info about becoming an owner, installer, or dealer of our home wind turbine systems.
